The Occultist - Old Growth now available in browser and on Linux!

With the release of Adventure Game Studio 3.6, I've been able to release the original Occultist game on Linux, and as a playable browser game! To celebrate the demo of Dr. Ian James McDermott's second adventure, I've re-released the original on these new platforms to make them available to a wider audience. Make sure to drop me a comment about your experience so I know how I can improve as I work on the second game in what is going to be an ongoing horror adventure. 

Also, don't forget, the Occultist series is tied to the ESPER series of games, which includes Heart of Abraxas, The Town on the Edge of Darkness, Julia, and The Thirty First. I have lost access to the original pages, so I've taken them down, but I will be reuploading them here in the following days. These older games came out a long time ago, and so some of the continuity hadn't been decided on yet... as a result, the only stories that are OFFICIALLY part of the current continuity are the two Occultist games, although I will be remaking The Town on the Edge of Darkness as the next in the series after I finish Bridge Under Troubled Water.

These games are also based on my tabletop roleplaying game, The Wizard's Tales TTRPG Engine (which also includes a solo journalling game called The ESPER Casebook, both of which I will also be uploading here soon). I recently have released a simplified version based solely in the Occultist/ESPER universe (simply called ESPER RPG).
